Burning Word: The Festival of Poetic FireHistory of Burning WordIn 2004, the WPA transformed its long-time annual conference into an all-day festival, and Burning Word was born. Looking Back on Burning Word 2006
Some things, like a good wine, are really worth waiting for. In this case, the "good thing" is the interpretive touch drawing artwork done by Deborah Koff-Chapin. Deborah was at Burning Word 2006 capturing her impressions of each poet who read. Drawings are now available for viewing on her web site, The Center for Touch Drawing.
